Behind the scenes
The reasons behind everything...Contumacious was named because I was searching on www.m-w.com for a complicated word that started with "c", so I just grabbed this one off since the word I search did not exist. Of course, I wanted the name to be an adjective and for it to be a vocabulary for many people [and me at first].
Contumacious=adj. stubbornly disobedient; rebellious
Does this name even link to the site? There is no motto as you can no where see that's available on the site, however, I've decided to stick to the motto, "We're only contumacious because we know everything.". Yes, this may sound conceited, but I wanted to sound like we have power and not weakness. If I find a better one, I'll let you know, otherwise, you may gracefully suggest a better one if you'd like.
Why create a tutorials site? There is definitely no reason not to. I like helping others develop better skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, Phoshop [ImageReady], etc. I like helping people too, and I've helped many people already with Photoshop, HTML, CSS, etc. So I just wanted to make a tutorials site to grandeurize my skills. Furthermore, whenever I learn something new, I will post it here, which of course means that it shows progession and I will definitely be developing my skills because I am practicing making layouts on my graphics site.
History
I can not, indefinitely, remember too many specific dates, so I've decided to create a timeline to make myself keep track of the dates of the site. Aren't I smart?March 1, 2007-The opening of Contumacious.
October 6, 2007-Layout change.
