The mouse-over alert box literally allows the user to hover the linked text, and an alert box with your message in it will appear before the link is clicked. This is to warn, guide, and/or tell the user what is going on.
<a href="URL" onMouseOver="alert('YOUR MESSAGE');return true;">Linked Text</a>
-Change URL to the linked text's destination.
-YOUR MESSAGE to any message you want to tell the user.
-And lastly, change Linked Text to the text that will be linking to a URL which will have an alert-box as you mouse over it.
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE.
To get to the link, move the "OK" on the alert box ontop of the text link and click twice (once for the OK and another for the link) and it will work.
