The input type is the type it will show in the form, which is a button form. The value is what the button's text will be.

and in text form:
<A onclick="window.external.AddFavorite('YOUR SITE URL,'YOUR SITE TITLE')" href="#">Add To Favorites</A>
Notice how the button form and the text form is almost exact how it has "window.external.ADdFavorite...". They all represent the same thing: it is Javascript. The only slight difference is that one is in text and the other is in form (button) mode.
